Let's Level Up !

Track your Evolution!

After a football season of "Active Growth"—whether it’s a league, a LEVELS camp, or both—you’ll have gained new skills. The UA PULSE system makes it real with a custom skills report you get at a COMBINE "checkpoint." How do COMBINES and LEVELS camps fit?

Evolve in 3, 2, 1...

3 months of growth START WITH A Custom Skills Report

First we start with an exciting MINI-Combine where players compete in football drills to get a skills report that helps identify specific areas for them to improve during the camp. Now let's dive into the program's three phases...

Mental Health

FosterIng Resilient Character

Some of our Levels camps also include a mental component infused into the 3 monthly training phases. This is an industry first methodology currently not being offered anywhere in North America.

The aim of this mental "layer" of the program is to help kids build character traits that are statistically proven to be childhood predictors of success in adult life, yet which are increasingly being eroded by environmental forces such as social media:

  • Attention span – Linked to professional success, emotional control, and well-being. 1,2
  • Goal Setting – Increases successful life outcomes by 33% and improve language & math results. 3,4,5
  • Self-belief & optimism – Linked to better grades, health & physical recovery! 6,7,8
  • Will power – Linked to improved self esteem, academic & financial success. 9,10

In a world where social media is proven to erode these traits 11,12, the LEVELS program aims to help rebuild them and equip your child with the resilience and will power they need to thrive.

Dopamine & Effort Threshhold

The way by which social media and other forces are reducing our children's' mental capacity, is by overstimulating their dopamine reward systems, resulting in a "shortening" of their effort thresholds. This means because social media for example makes it very easy for them to get dopamine, (by simply swiping their thumb), they slowly lose the ability to engage in greater effort in order to get the same dopamine they get by simply swiping their phone.

Here's the critical part: dopamine is the primary motivating factor that drives the bulk of human achievement. It's direct involvement in all the four statistical traits linked above, is exactly why a shortened dopamine threshold or "effort threshold" is so important to restore.

Goal Setting & Restoring Their Threshold

A combination of journal goal setting and strategically timed challenges & rewards allows Levels participants to build focus and perseverance, while celebrating milestones that reinforce their character growth and lengthen their "effort threshold" both on and off the field!

We believe that a complete player and healthy child equipped for a fulfilling life needs both a healthy body and a strong, resilient mind capable of the effort required to overcome obstacles and grow.

Common Questions

Can I do more than one Levels Camp Per year?

Of course! it all depends on your schedule as well as which Locations have LEVELS camps during the winter and summer. There are no limits on how many camps your child can participate in.

Can I do a Levels Camp if I'm Already in a league?

Absolutely! LEVELS camps are complementary to league play and we encourage both because a league is the perfect environment for players to begin applying their learnings in real game environments.

Can I try just one month and see if i like it?

There are time where UA FLAG does promotions or special offers and we allow tiered pricing. However this is not a consistent thing because it requires us to re-structure and re-operationalize programs in a way that is seamless between kids who have signed up for the full 3 months, vs kids who have only signed up for one month, because they're both simultaneously participating.

How Do i FInd the closest Levels Camp?

UAFlag has over 30 flag football hubs and growing in Canada. However, not all locations have Levels camps due to their operational complexity (it really takes a lot of resources for us to deliver this experience for players!). Your best bet is to find a UA Hub near you can give them a call. We're always working on increasing capacity and operations at each of our hubs.

What is the Time commitment for a Levels Camp?

Levels camps are either 11 or 12 weeks long, with a 1-2 hour session once per week. Although the general principles follow standardized guidelines to enhance the child's enjoyment and growth, various UA Hubs may have slight differences based on their facilities and other logistic factors.

What Are the age groups allowed for levels camps?

Levels camps are for kids aged 8 - 16 years old. During he first week when we host the mini combine, we segment children not only based on their skill, but also their age groups.

WHat isthe fee of a full 3 month Levels camp?

Levels camps are typically priced between $550 - $700. This is noticeably higher than our league seasons, but the difference in price reflects the high degree attention, personalization, and physical and mental growth that each child receives. Levels camps are the most resource intensive offering at UA Flag, and, considering the cognitive component of the program and its perks, they are the most valuable for the child long term.
